About Me

Who am I anyway?

That’s kind of the point of my book.

A young woman searches for the truth of her husband’s adoption in a tight-lipped Sicilian family and inadvertently discovers herself.

A baby boomer, I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and to this day live ten minutes from my childhood home. Didn’t venture far away but learned a few things as I stumbled through life. Like don’t believe everything people say, especially your Sicilian in-laws. And eventually everybody dies—some too soon, some not soon enough. But when they do, you learn the most interesting things.

And even when you know your DNA, you still might wonder who you are inside.
